| The first was originally the 18th when Harry Colt designed the course, which explains it's length and difficulty. Among the longer opening par 4's in Surrey, it requires two good strikes to reach the green in two. If the drive is too far right, the dog leg will block your second shot, so the ideal drive is straight at the marker post leaving between 200 and 150 yards to go. With the ground sloping away to the right, a shared bunker on the left and a greenside bunker on the right, par is an excellent score on this hole. | ||||||||||||||||||
