The Professional Team have a proud reputation for the successful teaching of players of all standards and are pleased to accept advance bookings for lessons. The excellent practice ground facilities at Betchworth Park are amongst the best in Surrey; they are located only 30m from the clubhouse and the Professional Shop and are ideally suited for lessons. The practice ground is 280m in length and includes a short game pitching area with bunker, enabling lessons to be given from a grass surface for both the long game and the short game. High quality range balls are available for hire during daylight hours.
A separate practice putting green is available for putting and close to green chipping lessons.
INDOOR TEACHING FACILITY
An indoor teaching facility is available employing C – Swing video analysis technology. Its two camera system records the golfer’s swing from key positions and shows them on a screen for detailed analysis and side by side comparison with tournament professionals. This facility is available for both members and visitors.
ACADEMY AND JUNIORS
The Professional Team manage the activities of the Betchworth Academy for people new to the game of golf and group lessons for Juniors. The Junior section has been awarded the Golf Mark Award for 2010 AND 2011.
