Betchworth Park has its origins in the 15th century and the remains of Betchworth Castle are to be found adjacent to the course.

The club was established in 1911 and designed by the renowned golf course architect Harry Colt. It is an undulating parkland course situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with lovely views up to Box Hill and across the Mole Valley to Reigate. For more info please click here

The course measures 6314 yards with a par of 69 from the white tees, and the course rating of 71.1 and slope of 133 indicates the challenging nature of the course – particularly the sloping greens. For info on the course please click here

Our practice facilities are amongst the best in Surrey, comprising of a full driving range (with raised target areas and flags at intermediate distances), a chipping and bunker area, putting green and indoor swing performance facility. Playing membership includes unlimited practice range balls.

Betchworth Park is a members’ club, so any surplus funds are re-invested back into the course and facilities for the benefit of members. There are approximately 770 members across all playing membership categories. We are a socially responsible and inclusive club with safeguarding, environmental and tree management policies in place and have signed up to the R&A Women in Golf Charter.

Membership offers many opportunities to meet and play with different people during the year through a varied programme of competitions and roll ups, and there are several membership categories to reflect the differing needs of the modern golfer. We have thriving Women’s and Junior sections and an Academy for those new or returning to the game.

There are many social events throughout the year and the club hosts the popular Watermill Jazz Club, local business groups and a bridge club.
