Academy

The Betchworth Park Golf Academy is the longest established golf academy in Surrey offering excellent value for money.

The Academy has been developed to provide a structured introduction to the game of golf and is open to everyone over the age of 18 years. The Academy is aimed at both novice and returning golfers whereby individually tailored instruction is provided by our one of our PGA Professionals. Duration of Academy membership is flexible and depends on the ability of the individual. Successful graduation from the Academy provides entry to full playing membership at Betchworth Park.

How it works
Following an initial assessment from one of our professional staff, players are placed into
either the Pre – Academy or the Academy itself, depending on their starting skill level.

Pre-Academy membership runs for twelve months, after which there is a further assessment
for transfer into the academy. Experience shows that by taking full advantage of the lessons
and coaching those with an affinity for the game can make the transition. Until that time
access to the course will be limited.

We expect Academy membership to last for up to 2 years, by which time players will usually have
gained a handicap and be ready to move into full club membership. Memberships will be billed annually.

The Betchworth Park Academy is aimed at providing a unique opportunity to anyone wishing to develop their golfing skills as it also affords an opportunity to try the game, meet other golfers, and to give an insight into Golf Club life.
